Bare Metal as a Servicein Kenya
Single-tenant enterprise servers, provisioned in seconds and billed by the month. The raw performance of physical hardware, delivered with the on-demand experience of the cloud. Not a virtualised cloud host. Not a slow dedicated-server vendor.
Dell R750, R640 and R630. Intel Xeon Gold and E5. Up to 512GB ECC RAM. Up to 9.6TB NVMe. Provisioned in seconds. Month-to-month. Zero setup fees. SAP-ready.
Bare metal, delivered like the cloud
The raw performance of physical hardware, with the on-demand experience of the cloud. You get a real, single-tenant machine, not a slice of someone else's.
Cloud hosting
A virtual slice of a shared host. Hypervisor overhead and noisy neighbours.
Traditional dedicated servers
Real hardware, but days or weeks to provision and locked into long contracts.
Metal on Cloud
Bare Metal as a Service
Single-tenant hardware, live in seconds and billed by the month. Metal performance, cloud agility.
Provisioned in Seconds
Your server is provisioned automatically the moment payment clears, OS, network, and IPMI access ready in seconds. No waiting for a human to rack and cable.
Full Root Access
Complete control over your hardware. Install any OS, any software, any configuration. No restrictions.
No Hypervisor Overhead
Unlike VMs, you get 100% of the hardware performance. No noisy neighbors, no resource contention.
Dedicated Hardware
Your own physical server, not shared, not virtualized. Single-tenant hardware with full IPMI/KVM access.
Flexible Billing
Monthly billing with no long-term contracts required. Cancel anytime.
24/7 Support
Expert support available around the clock. We're here when you need us, day or night.

Get a QuoteFrequently asked questions
How quickly can a server be provisioned?
Servers are provisioned in seconds after payment using our automation. No manual racking. No waiting days for your hardware to be configured.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
No. All bare metal plans are month-to-month with zero setup fees and zero lock-in. You can start and stop at any time.
Why not use IBM Cloud or PhoenixNAP?
IBM and PhoenixNAP have no data centers in East Africa. Your data would be hosted in the US, EU, or Singapore, outside Kenyan jurisdiction, with 150ms+ latency to Nairobi. Metal on Cloud is the only enterprise bare metal provider operating inside Kenya.
Is the hardware dedicated entirely to me?
Yes. Every server is single-tenant. No hypervisor, no virtualization, no shared resources. The full hardware, CPU, RAM, NVMe, is yours alone.
What is IPMI/KVM and do I get access to it?
IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) and KVM-over-IP give you remote out-of-band access to the server, including at BIOS level, even if the OS is unresponsive. All Metal on Cloud servers include full IPMI/KVM access.
Can you manage the server for me?
Yes. Our managed services add-on covers 24/7 monitoring and alerting, OS patching, security hardening, daily backups with 30-day retention, and SLA-backed incident response, from $200/server/mo.
Where is my data processed and stored?
Your data is processed and stored in Nairobi, East Africa. For Kenyan organisations this satisfies the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019. For customers across Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Rwanda, your data remains on the continent, no offshore transfers, no foreign control planes.
What hardware do you use?
All servers are Dell PowerEdge enterprise chassis: the R750 (2U, Intel Xeon Gold, U.2 NVMe), the R640 (1U, Intel Xeon Gold) and the R630 (1U, Intel Xeon E5, hardware RAID-1), the same hardware class used by enterprise data centers globally.
